This thesis explores the innovative anthropocentric methodologies for project & infrastructure management in the healthcare sector. The use of methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile & Scrum in the healthcare ecosystem on the one side appears to be expanding, either in terms of increase in use or in terms of developing of new, hybrid methodologies, setting a more fertile ground for responding to the sector’s current and future emerging challenges. On the other side, the patient’s ecosystem doesn’t seem to be as integrated into the design & development phase of projects & infrastructure as possible, even if innovative co-creation techniques such as Design Thinking, Service Design, etc. share basic principles with the aforementioned methodologies. The responses from interviews with 4 healthcare ecosystem and 3 patient organizations’ representatives, as well as analysis of online activity, are examined and presented. Results indicate that integrating innovative project management methodologies and combining them with co-creation techniques, can lead to valuable results, while their combination seems to offer the appropriate “toolbox”, in order to efficiently respond to the big questions to be faced, in the healthcare’s future.el
