Supply Chain Management is a relatively new and promising field of science, it has an excessive effect on the productivity of modern enterprises and the wider assurance of quality processes in the highly competitive environment of modern entrepreneurship. Its dissemination is mainly due to its particularly important results, firstly the direction of minimizing the cost of business and in the direction of optimal co-ordination of supplier-related business processes and their distributors. With the complete application of this management, the customer finds the product at the right time, in the right quality and quantity and at the most appropriate price, effectively reducing all those factors that increase the cost of the product. Supply Chain Management Systems are featured in modern business in various forms, from designing production to transporting the product to the final consumer. This diversity often confuses a multitude of businesses that, while they are interested in implementing such methodologies and innovations, ultimately follow erroneous implementation practices. The aim of this report is to investigate the field of critical success factors (CSFs) towards to sustainable supply chain management implementations. Thus, it is provided a profound literature review, targeting the CSF for this purpose. Moreover, the data analysis section of this paper, is based on the results given by the questionnaire method. In order to define the critical success factors that Greek companies comply with, a questionnaire has been conducted and answered by many Greek companies that represent different sectors.el
