dc.description.abstractParaphrase of “Recollections for Theofilos” is a variation of the work Recollections for Theofilos through added material for guitar. As the title indicates, the piece deals with remembrances from the past. It basically comprises two ideas: 1) Slow and Meditative, 2) a folk dance. The entire composition is based on the composer’s Greek heritage. Paraphrase of “Recollections for Theofilos” can be performed by: a) soprano saxophone or clarinet in Bb and guitar, b) violin or flute and guitar. Both players read from the score. This work is written for Theofilos Sotiriades and Aggelos Botsis.en
