Landscape II: for percussion

Abstract

Landscapes Series is a projected collection of five works corresponding to five instrumental groups: strings, percussion, brass, woodwinds, and orchestra. The works include materials from older works of the composer, and are reflections of the ups and downs of his experience as an orchestral musician over the years. Landscape II for percussion is very rhythmic in construction but serene in mood. Many percussion instruments create various colors.
