The purpose of this master thesis is to approach the economic impact of Brexit in both the EU and the UK and the EU's response in order to mitigate the economic impact of Brexit on its member states. Of course, as the issue is new, the EU's reaction is in progress, as well as the definitive shaping of post-Brexit relations have not been consolidated since there are still several points of friction between the EU and the UK, the analysis of the work extends until the period of June 2022, when the last funding package of the Brexit Adjustment Reserve instrument was approved by the Commission, to four EU member states. The analysis extends into two major parts and an epilogue which are structured into individual chapters.en
