dc.description.abstract | This dissertation is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 refers to the introduction, the statement of the problem, the purpose and the contribution on further research and problem solving. Chapter 2 is dived into the theory around Human Resources evolution, challenges, and uniqueness while Chapter 3 introduces Human Resources tools that are being widely used for public or private sector. After this analysis, Chapter 4 focuses on international recruitment of intergovernmental organizations and international firms while Chapter 5 introduces innovative practices of recruitment. Chapter 6 introduces the current economic development, labor law and regulations and analyses the traditional method of Greek public sector. Finally, in Chapter 7 focuses on the data analysis of the interviews, the discussion of findings and transferability of selection practices to the Greek public sector. | en |
