Abstract: This dissertation explores how Luxembourg can serve as a model for boosting investments in the Greek market. It examines the ways in which Greece could benefit from adopting elements of Luxembourg’s financial framework to become a competitive investment hub in Southern Europe. The study focuses on how Greece can modernize its economy by simplifying its tax system, improving education, and attracting foreign investment through structures such as Luxembourg’s feeder funds. A case study on Piraeus Bank demonstrates the positive economic performance of the Greek financial sector in 2024. In addition, an interview with a Deloitte manager provides practical insights into how Greece can further enhance its investment environment. Overall, the research highlights that by drawing lessons from Luxembourg’s regulatory and educational practices, Greece can strengthen its investment landscape and position itself as an emerging European financial hub.
