Abstract: The main research objective is the succession of Revolutions by reigns of Terror as a tool for regime change or regime preservation and empowerment. It is of crucial importance to study the reigns of terror, divide them into categories based on their characteristics, and compare the reigns of terror of each category separately, as it will help us comprehend the potential patterns of human rights violations that could occur during or after a revolution. My hypothesis was correct since the reigns of terror can in fact be divided into two separate categories based on their goal.
