dc.description.abstract	“Assemblages II for Viola and String Orchestra” is a little story of everyday life. A few minor complaints presented through consecutive thirds lead to a game full of jokes. The presence of numerous sound effects such as pizzicato, col legno, tremolo, and tritones portray the fun the participants enjoy. The next scene, “lovingly,” is highlighted again by consonant sounds leading to a happy finale full of effects. This work is dedicated to an old friend and colleague of mine, Jerzy Kosmala, and his string-playing family.	en
