dc.description.abstract	Recollections for Theofilos was commissioned by Theofilos Sotiriades who is going to premiere the work in Thessaloniki – Greece, on December 9th, 2001. As the title indicates, the piece deals with remembrances from the past. Recollections can be performed by any saxophone. It basically comprises two ideas: 1) Slow and Meditative, 2) a folk dance. The entire composition is based on the composer’s Greek heritage.	en
