dc.description.abstract“Millennium Festival II” is the second work of the “Millennium” series. Like the “Millennium Festival Overture” it is an upbeat piece reflecting ideals from past millenniums and hopes for the new one. It was written for the Greek Festival in Mobile, Alabama, in October 2000 for the celebration of the Millennium 2000, to be premiered by trumpet virtuoso Timothy Justus and the Mobile Symphony as a part of a concert of the composer’s works.en
