The current European Union's Membership Mechanism and the necessity of an advanced one.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze and moreover recommend a new Membership Mechanism for the European Union (EU). There is a demand for a new membership system that arises from the different kind of concerns that the current one has created. A new solution is about to be presented in this thesis by following numerous of innovative steps leading to a more efficient mechanism. These steps include information about the current established membership system, refer to particular problems that are related to the contemporary mechanism and take them under consideration for the production of the newly recommended one. Moreover, a theoretical analysis of the recommended mechanism is about to be done so as to see how it could affect the current situation in the European Union. Finally, conclusions and self-criticism will be offered, concerning the comparison between the current European Membership Mechanism and the suggested one.

To fully comprehend the need of a new membership mechanism, the historical background that led to it should be presented. In order to create an alternate system, there should be an examination of the current system and how it is related to specific complications.

To summarize, the paper has as a claim that it would be necessary for the European Union’s proper function and prosperity, to be able and maintain a Membership mechanism that allow efficient problem solving through its

structural unanimity. To put is simpler, this thesis targets on making the unification process of the European Union through its Membership mechanism, faster than ever.
