Abstract: The paper is a research about the behaviour of the Green parties which managed to get in power. The paper examins the changes that occur to the Greens after they enter a governmental coalition, the magnitude of the influence which a Green party can have in the government and also the potential changes which are necessary in order to turn into a pivotal party. Furthermore we examine the way of getting in power for a Green party, as well as, the situations under which a Green party exits a governmental coalition.
