Abstract:	In the present thesis, I will deeply analyze the role of the South East Europe (SEE) Programme as well as the contribution of the Programme affecting 8 Member States, 6 potential candidate countries and 2 countries participating in the European Neighborhood Policy. The strategic objective, the goals and the priorities of the Programme will be presented in order to stress out the importance of the specific Transnational Cooperation Programme. The analysis will, mostly, be based on the current programming period (2007-2013); however the next one will also be briefly described.
