Abstract: The theme of this dissertation covers a complex set of issues ranging from defining the term of illegal immigration, analysing the problem of illegal immigration in Europe to addressing the root causes of illegal immigration with special reference to the region of South Asia. Last years, in Europe, the issue of illegal immigration has been the center of migration policy-making and it is a subject of active research, regarding the security of people in its territory.
