Αξιοποίηση των ανοικτών δεδομένων από τις επιτροπές ερευνών των πανεπιστημίων: η περίπτωση του ΑΠΘ

Abstract

The present thesis, prepared during the Postgraduate Studies Program in Public Administration of the University of Macedonia, examines the need and the advantages of open data for the Research Committees of the Greek Universities.

The main activities and needs of the Greek research Committees are analyzed and a set of implementation guidelines are presented for the implementation of an open data environment for the Greek Universities.

From the analysis it is concluded that the implementation of a suitable and adequate open data environment by the research committees of the Greek Universities is a priority and must be implemented, not only for the benefit of the researchers, but also because it is already a requirement of the major funding institutions (e.g. European Commission) supporting University research.
