Abstract

Data visualization has grown rapidly in terms of popularity in recent years. Communicating the findings from visualizing data to third parties is much more effective and is called digital data storytelling. In the context of this thesis, an overview of these disciplines was provided and great examples of data visualization were also presented. A data storytelling scenario has been developed that utilized public data to analyse and present the results of this analysis visually. The theme of the story is related to the sales of passenger cars and their characteristics registered in the last 8 years in Europe. Charts have been created with the help of Plotly Chart studio. This tool has the ability to create dynamic, interactive data visualizations in web browsers. The Plotly Chart Studio has proven to be a tool that offers many helpful capabilities to the user
