dc.descriptionΔιπλωματική εργασία--Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας, Θεσσαλονίκη, 2019.el
This dissertation analyzes the relationship between human capital and economic growth using both quantitative and qualitative measures. In addition, we employ GAMs to identify possible nonlinearities in our data. We find that initial per capita income and investment rate have a robust nonlinear effect on economic growth across all specifications. In contrast, the analysis provides little evidence for a nonlinear relationship between human capital and growth.el
